When I was 37 weeks, 70% effaced, 4-5 cm dilated, dr stripped my membranes at 37 week appt and when that didn't kick start labor, at my 38 week appt dr said it was my last one, he didn't want me walking around that dilated, sent me to the hospital, broke my waters and baby #2 was born 2 hours later ;) ...
