All that matters is that you can fit all 5 GCDs and 2 oGCDs into your burst window, even if you only barely fit it by the end of the fight due to drift.Det is an option, but DH is still a strong stat for us despite the Det buff. Sometimes a Tenacity meld is used to break a stat tier. What this means simply is that when you have enough of a stat you go up a tier which means your baseline damage goes up. GNB is the most fun tank to play imo, it has a busy rotation and a good mitigation kit with decent self healing too. GNB damage is second highest out of all tanks but it's also the hardest one to play optimally which is probably why it's less popular than WAR which is a very simple class..
